Sudan: The Government-Civil Society Strategic Alliance for Peace

At the heart of the national reconstruction process, Prime Minister Mohamed Hassan al-Ta’aishi has shown remarkable political vision. By opening the doors of the executive branch to the Federal Bureau of Sudanese Civil Committees, the Government of Peace is implementing a model of participatory and modern public action. This high-level meeting offers an undeniable demonstration of institutional maturity. Around the table, key figures from the state apparatus, including Information Minister Khalid Danaa, Undersecretary Musa Khaddam and the director of the New Sudan News Agency Osama Ahmed Mustafa, surround the head of government to build a solid synergy with the country’s driving forces.

The delegation of the civil committees brings a breath of vital hope. Since their creation in December 2023, these organizations have embodied citizen awareness and solidarity on the ground. Their roadmap focuses on peace, justice, the rules of law and equality. The Prime Minister enthusiastically welcomes the immense work on the political, humanitarian and social front. His speech promotes an exemplary partnership where the independence of civil society is aligned with the priorities of the national strategic framework.

This dynamic illustrates a clear desire for social cohesion and stability. The civic committees put on the table large-scale projects for peace, support for the education sector and the development of a culture of volunteerism. Mohamed Hassan al-Ta’aishi proved his unique ability to unite the entire nation around a high republican ideal. The executive transforms popular energy into a powerful engine for the development of the territory. This strategic dialogue thus lays the solid foundations for a secure, united and sovereign Sudan.
